GIGS
We were unable to do much in 2019 due to other activities, holidays and day jobs, and had a "resting" period, just working on new songs now and then. We were looking forward to a fresh start in 2020 but Covid 19 intervened and everything was cancelled. 2021 has now passed us by entirely with no gigs in sight. Any more of this and we''ll have to write a musical about the whole experience. 2022 showed promise, with some very enjoyable and successful gigs, 2023 and 2024 were back to normal with some very rewarding performances and 2025 is looking very promising so far.
Here we are in 2024 - still smiling!
BEGGAR'S BELIEF IN CONCERT
We don't take on a huge number of gigs, as we are all busy people, but we get out there as often as we can to make the music we love and to entertain people along the way. There are some great gigs lined up for the next few months and we will post details here as soon as we have confirmation. Some gigs are at private venues, so you might not be lucky on those occasions, but we hope you will be able to come along whenever you can.
In recent months we have performed at :-
Fordingbridge Folk Club, The Lantern Theatre Romsey, Grove Place Retirement Village Nursling, Mottisfont Village Hall, Romsey Town Hall Woolston & Bursledon Folk Club, Romsey Beggars Fair and Woolston Community Centre, sometimes on more than one occasion.

6th March 2025 - Romsey Town Hall, Market Place, Romsey SO51 8YZ
This was a charity concert in support of Romsey Opportunity Group; a non-ticketed event, with cash donations invited on the night. It was a full house with an audience of 70 people and after overheads, the grand sum of £750.00 was raised on the night. The audience were very enthusiastic and sang and laughed in all the right places, making it a very enjoyable evening all round. BB had a great time, with Howard making an impressive debut on guitar.

An evening concert with 50% of the proceeds going to support a charity chosen by BB (TBC). Doors open at 7.00 pm for a 7.30 pm start.

Two daytime concerts as part of a whole day of music around the town:
12 noon - 1.00 pm and 2.30 pm - 3.30 pm.
Why not come twice? Two completely different set lists nd you don't need a ticket!
